Dr. Maurice Moloney
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Dr. Moloney is an internationally-recognized scientist and businessman, having spent half of his career in the private sector working in agribusiness and biotechnology, founding and managing companies like Core Biogenesis and SemBioSys Genetics, a Canadian biotechnology company he took public in 2004. He has also served as a researcher, research manager and CEO/Executive Director in strategic research organizations including Rothamsted, UK and CSIRO, Australia. Most recently he was the CEO of the Global Institute for Food Security, Canada.
Dr. Moloney has served as a consultant with several major agribusiness companies (Monsanto, Bayer AG) and has transacted business deals with many others. He has published over 100 original research papers and is the inventor on over 300 issued patents worldwide. His discoveries and intellectual property have resulted in commercial products including RoundUp Ready canola, Omega-6 lipids as nutritional supplements and natural liposomes (oleosomes) for personal care products.
Dr. Cory Nykiforuk

As a serial-innovator Dr. Nykiforuk has directed and contributed to the commercialization of several biotech products on the market including Sonova 400™/GLASO™, Chymosin SPC, Hydresia®, BAT®, Ixinity®, Peauforia™, Peauvita™ and ABTIQUE by EVQLV. As Director of Process Development and Analysis at SemBioSys Genetics Inc. and more recently in executive consulting roles at GreenLabs Inc., Core Biogenesis, and EPICS Biotechnology, he has made notable pioneering contributions in agri-based recombinant protein production.

Dr. Nykiforuk was the technical lead in developing the first human insulin derived from plants, achieving significant innovations to enhance oilseed platform capabilities and enable IND studies for plant-made pharmaceuticals. These developments have been recognized as a major milestone in plant molecular farming and this technology has founded several companies. Dr. Nykiforuk is an inventor on over 55 patents, with over 50 publications in top tiered journals and now our proprietary formulation will position oral delivery of GLP-1RAs and next generation products in nutritional supplements.
